Apple Publishes More Information on Snow Leopard’s Universal Access Features
— ♣On the heels of the announcement that Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will ship this Friday, Apple has provided more details regarding VoiceOver improvements in the new OS on a new Snow Leopard Universal Access page. In addition to previously announced features, such as gesture-based navigation, VoiceOver also includes the ability to customize your web browsing experience, the ability to assign Automator Workflows and Applescripts to keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to label controls in applications that have not been properly tagged by the developer.
All in all, it’s looking like Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will be a tremendous upgrade for VOiceOver users.
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard begins shipping on Friday, 28/August/2009, for a suggested retail price of $29 (US) for current Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard users.
