DropBox Now Entirely Inaccessible On Mac OS X
— ♣It has recently come to our attention that DropBox, the popular cloud storage solution used by many Mac users, visually impaired or otherwise, is now essentially impossible to setup by VoiceOver users on the Mac platform.
Previously, the application was difficult to use with VoiceOver, but users, with some patience, could navigate the setup screens and enter their DropBox account information.
Now, it seems, this process is wholly inaccessible. No effort, whatsoever, has been made to allow VoiceOver access to the interface via Apple’s accessibility guidelines.
Given the large number of VoiceOver users who utilize the DropBox service on their Mac and iOS devices, we find the lack of regard for its visually impaired customers disappointing.
